A few weeks after releasing iOS 18.3, Apple published iOS 18.3.1 on Monday. While certain iPhone features, such as AI summaries, were modified in that version, the most recent update fixes a flaw that Apple claims may have been deliberately used in a “extremely sophisticated attack.” As a result, everyone has to download the update immediately.
By selecting Settings > General > Software Update, selecting Update Now, and then following the on-screen instructions, you may download the update.

iOS 18.3.1 fixes a security flaw that allowed a third party to disable USB Restricted Mode on a locked device, per Apple’s release notes.
