Our goal at Mobile Financial Services (MFS) is to improve society and promote financial inclusion via the use of technology. Every day, our technologies enable services like peer-to-peer transfers, payments, disbursements, loans, and savings for hundreds of millions of users. We use state-of-the-art technology to provide scalable, safe, and high-quality financial platforms. To assist clients throughout the continent, we are constructing a Mobile Financial Services Competence Center in Africa.
Banks and operators may provide mobile financial services using the Ericsson Wallet Platform (EWP), which guarantees the highest level of security, integration, and personalization. Millions of people in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa benefit from our work, which also helps impoverished communities achieve financial independence.
We are looking for a leader that is customer-focused and has a lot of experience in Leading MFS Solution Architects and Cloud specialists through solution design, service delivery, and team management. As a member of the MFS Service Delivery Leadership Team, this position is in charge of application development and EWP rollouts.

What You’re Going to Do:

• Keep an eye on the solution requirements and contractual scope.
Using MFS best practices as a guide, create and implement a technical design authority model.
• Coordinate with Product Management to guarantee that the strategy and roadmap satisfy client needs.
• To identify and rank business needs, collaborate closely with senior leaders and C-level executives.
• Oversee Mobile Financial Services solution integration and deployment initiatives.
• Assure the MFS Solution Architects and Business Analysts’ deliverables are of a high caliber.
• Promote the development of team capabilities while maintaining ethics, compliance, and superior leadership.
• Encourage diversity while hiring the best FinTech talent.
• Construct and preserve solid client connections via interaction and meetings.
• Put best practices into action, promote ongoing development, and support internal and external networks.
• For operational efficiency, make sure that global procedures, techniques, and tools are followed.
• Take the lead in developing strategies and managing change while removing obstacles to performance.
• Encourage reuse and uniformity throughout MFS program verticals.

The abilities you contribute:

• Five or more years of direct leadership experience, together with ten to fifteen years of leadership experience in telecom or ICT technology jobs.
• More than five years in the fintech industry, working with significant banking or fintech companies.
• Excellent capacity to interact with and sway C-level executives.
• Having firsthand knowledge of the Ericsson Wallet Platform is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Continuous Deployment/Continuous Integration (CI/CD).
• A results-driven strategy with a customer-first mentality.
• Capacity to lead cross-functional, multicultural teams while encouraging cooperation.
• Excellent analytical abilities to spot patterns and promote operational enhancements.

• Proficiency in business, operations, and finance; familiarity with Ericsson procedures is advantageous.
• A university degree in economics or technology, ideally an MSc, MBA, or similar degree.
