Role Overview:
The Customer Journey Manager (CJM) is a key player in driving product development, working alongside the Product Owner and broader product team. This role focuses on understanding, measuring, and enhancing the customer journey with a special emphasis on technological integration across functions. The CJM’s leadership in prioritizing customer insights and collaborating with product, experience design, and engineering teams ensures seamless and aligned customer experiences.
The CJM will oversee continuous improvements in customer journeys, ensuring customer needs are central in all product decisions while managing coordination across teams and departments for effective journey execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand:
- Independently map out and analyze the full customer journey.
- Gather data and insights from different sources to understand the customer experience.
- Lead the creation of customer journey maps, using tools like Visio, with minimal supervision.
Optimize:
- Continuously evaluate customer journeys from both a business and customer perspective.
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to ensure evolving customer needs are met.
Orchestration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align customer journey design and processes.
- Foster alignment and understanding across various functions for consistent, effective customer journeys.
Blockchain & Digital Asset Integration:
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for blockchain integration.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement blockchain-based digital asset solutions.
- Stay updated on blockchain trends and technologies through market research.
- Create detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for blockchain implementation.
About You:

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Industry Experience: 6+ years in software development, with a focus on creating and delivering scalable products and services.
- Blockchain & Fintech Expertise: Experience in blockchain development, especially within banking or fintech, is highly preferred.
- Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of agile practices, continuous integration, and test automation (TDD, BDD).
- Source Code Management: Proficiency in Git for version control.
- Testing & CI/CD: Familiarity with test-driven development and CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Harness).
- Cloud & Databases: Knowledge of cloud technologies (GCP, Azure) and both RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
- Message Queues: Experience with tools like Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
- Testing Frameworks: Experience with Junit, Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, and code quality platforms like Sonar.
- Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
